Leader: Incline your ear, O Lord, and answer us, for we are poor
and needy. People: Preserve our lives, for we are devoted to you; save
your servants who trust in you. Leader: You are our God; be gracious to us, O Lord, for to you do
we cry all day long. People: Gladden the souls of your servants, for to you, O
Lord, we lift up our souls. Leader: For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in
steadfast love to all who call on you. People: All the nations you have made shall come and bow
down before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name. Leader: For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are
God. People: Teach us your way, O Lord, that we may walk in your
truth; give us an undivided heart to revere your name. Leader: We give thanks to you, O Lord our God, with our whole ,
hearts, and we will glorify your name forever. People: For great is your steadfast love toward us; you have
delivered our souls from the depths of Sheol.
